The Mooncake Awards voting process will be divided into two categories: Industry Experts’ Vote and Public Vote.

Industry Experts’ Vote:

• Thirty percent (30%) of the total voting weight will be determined by the votes of industry experts, including representatives from hotels, restaurants, and professional chefs.
• The industry experts’ votes will be based on their expertise, knowledge, and experience in the mooncake industry.

Public Vote:

• Seventy percent (70%) of the total voting weight will be open to the public for voting.
• Members of the public can participate in the voting process and cast their votes for their favorite mooncakes.

Voting Eligibility:

• The Public Vote is open to all individuals who meet the following criteria:
• Must have a valid email address to register their vote.

Voting Period:

• The voting period will be from 08 August – 08 September 2023 announced and promoted on the MooncakeMarketplace.com website and associated platforms.
• The voting period will be open for a specified time, and all votes must be cast within this period.

Voting Method:

• The voting process will be conducted online through the MooncakeMarketplace.com website.
• Each participant will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite mooncakes within the designated categories.

Fairness and Transparency:

• MooncakeMarketplace.com will employ appropriate measures to ensure the fairness and transparency of the voting process.
• Any attempts to manipulate the voting system or engage in fraudulent activities will result in the disqualification of votes or participants.

Results:

• The final results will be tabulated based on the combined votes from the industry experts and the public.
• The winners of the Mooncake Awards will be announced publicly on the MooncakeMarketplace.com website and associated platforms.

Prizes and Recognition:

• Mooncake manufacturers or vendors who win the awards will receive recognition and accolades for their outstanding mooncakes.
• Specific prizes or rewards for the winning participants will be determined by the Mooncake Awards organizing committee.

Decision Binding:

• The decision of the Mooncake Awards organizing committee regarding the voting process and the winners will be final and binding.

Public Voters’ Prizes:

• Individuals who cast their votes for their favorite mooncakes will automatically enter a lucky draw, giving them a chance to win exciting prizes.
• Prizes may include:
  • Grand Prize: 3 days 2 nights stay at Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok (accommodation only).
  • Runner-Up Prizes: 3 days 2 nights stay at Holiday Inn Express Johor Bahru (accommodation only).
  • Consolation Prizes: Assorted Boxes of Award-Winning Mooncakes. (Multiple winners).

Winners of each category:

• Hotels, restaurants, cafes, and bakeries that receive awards in the following categories will be honored with prestigious prizes:
• Best Traditional Mooncake
• Most Innovative Mooncake
• Outstanding Mooncake Design
• Best Snowskin Mooncake
• Mooncake of the Year 2023
• Prize options for the winners may include:
  • 1 x Award Trophies recognizing their respective categories.
  • A special feature and write-up about their winning mooncakes on the MooncakeMarketplace.com website and associated platforms for 2023/2024.
  • Complimentary advertising space or social media promotions to highlight their achievement.
